I don't know how I managed to write all this new stuff in the midst of such a chaotic year. February is early enough that maybe I wasn't warn down too much yet, The separate children's album I wrote sometime in the summer is harder to explain. Perhaps I wouldn't have been so gutted by the end of it all if I had forgone FAWM and focused on the tasks at hand.
I'm glad I didn't, cause there's some important stuff here: a few more Curtains tracks, the discovery of a sci-fi concept album called Step Inside, more from the ill-fated Sick Beats, and Evil Will Prevail, a last-minute addition to Insane is Repeating, an album we thought we had mapped out well in advance of Claw Machine. The mounting possibility of a Trump-run America was pretty affecting, so it was bound to seep in.
